About the Role
Gippsland Southern Health Service has an exciting opportunity for a Radiographer - Medical Imaging Technologist Grade 2 (Level, dependent of experience), to join our dynamic and supportive Medical Imaging Team. New graduate and junior radiographers are encouraged to apply.
This is an ongoing position, part-time or full-time and flexible working arrangements may be considered. Working across both campuses, our normal hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm with a requirement to participate in the after-hours call roster for CT and X-Ray. Operationally, you will be responsible to the Medical Imaging Manager.
As a key member of the Medical imaging team your primary objective as Medical Imaging Technologist is the provision of safe, high quality, efficient and patient focussed imaging services. Additionally, you will be an active participant in the education, training and supervision of student radiographers. The opportunity to train in other imaging modalities such as ultrasound and/or CT may be available to the right candidate.
About You
You will have completed a Degree in Medical Imaging Science (Radiography) or hold an equivalent qualification with current AHPRA Registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner. Experience in CT and IV cannulation is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
